Sciatica pain in left leg

Asked for Female, 48 Years

Hello, I am a home maker. Since last couple of months I have been having severe pain in my left leg from lower waist right till my foot. I visited the family doctor but his medication was more of vitamin and other supplements which has not cured by pain. Kindly help me to understand the solution to the problem.

Hello , sciatica pain is due compression of the nerve from your back . Please visit your physiotherapist who can have detailed assesment and start with your exercise program .Strengthening of your weak back and leg muscles is very important. You can wear a lumbo sacral belt ,avoid lifting heavy objects and take some rest .
