Bone & Muscle problems

My mom aged 65 yrs.is having pain in back and hip bone as she had fallen at home , 6 months before.we have done xray one month before.there is no fracture only swelling. Pain is severe.plz advice.

While playing football, I had sprained my left knee. I experience pain if I shift weight towards my left leg. Some swelling is present. Will consult a doctor tomorrow. I would like to know any precautions until then. I am using ice packs to reduce swelling and pillows under the knee for support and elevation

I wanted to know what happens to a cortical button after a while. had an ACL reconstruction and they used a cortical button to hold the graft in place. once the bone and everything else heals and incorporates the graft as part of the knee, what happens with the button that used to hold it in place? does it just fall off? dissolve? i know bioabsorbable screws basically get absorbed over time but what abt this button?
