Bone & Muscle problems

Three years before I met an accident..my right side tendon of leg got swollen...this pain lasts for 1yr...now when I started exercise like brisk walking, running, jumping etc.the pain again starts..and I culdnt do any exercise for the next two days...what causes it would be...please help me out...

Dear Doctor, My Sister is aged 47, has Thyroid problem and recently discovered RA. She is unmarried. She is obese 100kg 5feet 4 inches height. She is taking medication thyronorm for throid and currently being treated by Rheumatologist following medicine HCQ'S 200, Saaz,DFZ taken by my Sister. My Sister developed recently knots over her hand muscle and her arms wrists are paining. Even knots over her hand is paining. Seems swollen. Please advise what could be the reason? Which Doctor would treat this? What is the cure?

I had minor slip disc issue last year due to which pain followed up in back ,shoulder and knees... later on pain decreased with medicine intake ... but was also diagnosed low bone density this year ... so now problem is that pain reoccur when i stop taking medicines( i am taking medicines constantly from last 1.5 yrs)... shoulder pain is bothering more

I was playing basketball last Thursday, and as I was running in for a layup I collided with my friend and I took his knee into my quad very hard. I’m assuming that I just bruised my quad, and that’s mostly fine now. However, about two days ago I started having a problem in my knee on the same leg. Whenever I am sitting and my leg is bent, and i stand up I get a very bad pain that slowly increases in intensity that goes from mid thigh to the bottom of my kneecap that subsides after 10-15 seconds.

Hai,i felt down in bike 3 weeks before,At that time some wounds in hands and leg,and have light pain left hand side around breast and little bottom,dr said there is no wound in outer so nothing to worry,it ll cure in some days,but am having that pain still now and sweating sometimes,please suggest me

Could you please let me know -is 3 months old baby is more resilient than adults when fallen from 3 feet high? - my daughter of 3 months old was fallen from bed of 3 feet high . I heard a large sound and she cried for 10 min and was normal after that. Could you please tell me what I need to check her whether she got internally injured and for ant external injuries.

My son is in hospital with 2 fractures in his back last night before leaving I was told he would be sent for a stand up scan and measured for a brace I returned this morning to find him in a brace however no scan has been done nor did he get measured for the brace they just brought 2 with them saying one should fit what should i do am concerned that he hasn't had the stand up scan like the specailist said he should

She is using steroids .she is getting swelling on face and heavy gastrics problem.wyselone is the steroid name.wht we need to do now.

My mother has swelling in both knees. X-ray shows the gap between knee bones is reduced... Now she has a lot of pain. Pls suggest some medicines or exercise for immediate relief... Her age is 52

8 months ago in a basketball tournament my ankle started hurting but I carried on playing for the 2 days later I saw my right foot was swollen (I didnt twist it at all) a bit of bruising barely noticeable and it hurt to walk, I went to the hospital a week later and they thought it was a stress fracture so they took a X-ray and nothing showed up on the X-ray so they said I sprained it so I rested for 3 weeks did a few strengthening exercises and then wore a brace for basketball after the 3 weeks of rest for a few months and the odd times I was in pain but now I’m in pain when playing basketball and walking so I now had to put my brace back on and I don't know what to do even though I have taken paracetamols and tried icing my ankle but none of these have really helped
