I have been facing a sudden sting / burn on my upper spine. This happens randomly and lasts for few seconds. I am not exactly sure why this is so. Is it because of some nerve stretch or other underlying problem.

I am experiencing pain below the neck, between two shoulders, in line with the spine. As soon as the pain starts I feel a little burning sensation in my lower legs. I feel a little sleepy as well and concentartion level drops. When i look up and also when i move my hands back to stretch, a popping sound is generated.
