He seems to have severe tooth infection and when he had visited the dentist a while back they had suggested a tooth extraction. However, he did not get it done and now he is facing pain. Is there any recommendation for him to subside his pain. It's been 4 days since he is experiencing severe pain. The infected with is Molar on the upper-left jaw. Thanks in advance!

Dear sir I gone for a dental surgery for removal of wisdom teeth in November and from that period I still felt complete numbness in my left part of tongue.I am not able to taste anything. I found cavity on one molar. It's very little. I guess the food was getting accumulated there even after brushing twice a day and rising properly. Due to lockdown, I'm not sure if this will be the right time to visit a dentist for something like this. Have been taking precautions by brushing after everything I eat and cleaning that portion with a toothpick. But I don't want this to get worse either. So is there an additional measure I can take to further slow down the cavity growth or should I visit a dentist immediately?
