I am feeling sensation in my teeth and gums from last few days, I used sensodyne but no relief Pls suggest something

Maximum how much time is taken to heal from tooth extraction. Its 8th day today. My dr told to take painkiller and said its normal, it takes time to recover. I am taking it twice a day and taking everyday. I thought the pain will not arrive post 4-5 days of extraction but post 8 days, I still feel pain which I can not tolerate and it stops by taking painkiller only. It was surgical extraction for Molar tooth. Is this really normal.

Hello sir my age 28 4 years before I lost my 4 tooth due to decay right side and left 2 tooth 2 tooth fixed with new tooth and 1 tooth only filled with fillings another one left empty why it's happened now I checked for alkaline phosphate 60u/l
