Will laser gum contouring be painful for this area I have some gum swelling too please tell the gum contouring will be painful?

Hello I have attached a picture of mine.. A small sore developed under my lips from last Sunday.. Initially it was smaller in size...but from yesterday it started growing in size... Sometimes I have seen white skin like substance surrounding it which goes away when I rub it... This is very much painfull while eating and sometimes talking too... Plz guide me

Doctor has suggested to take amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate 500/125 three times a day. As my husband is in Iraq, there is no proper guidance.
