I have just got my tooth extracted.
Can I place Ice pack over my cheek from where tooth is extracted?
And also after tooth extraction, how long should I wait to drink water?
Should I drink cold water or normal water?

- It is okay to put an ice pack but never put ice directly on the skin. (Ice pack helps in case of swelling)
- Use for 15 minutes, and then take it off for next 15 minutes. Try this in every one- to two-hour.
- After 45 mins to 1 hour of extraction remove the cotton placed in your mouth with your fingers. ( do not spit it)
- After cotton removal please have some cold milk or a cup of ice cream ( without nuts ie plain).
- You can drink cold water or room temperature water afterwards just avoid warm food or drinks for next 2 days.
- Rest avoid using straw or stick ice cream’s.
