It's best to avoid smoking for minimum one week after tooth extraction. As smoking can delay healing and cause dry socket which is very painful. So it's better to avoid it. Warm saline water rinses two to three times a day, use mouthwash and try to maintain good oral hygiene. Hello. After extraction, smoking must be avoided for atleast 5-7 days till the wound heals. Smoking can cause dry socket in the wound. Cigarette smoke contains chemical toxins that can delay healing and be dangerous to your gum and mouth tissues. If you smoke and expose your healing gums to these toxins it can result in serious complications, including dry socket, inflammation, or infection. Advised to avoid smoking for 5-7 days after extraction. Quit smoking gradually

Hello smoking is not at all recommended after extraction is done at least for five days because it might dislodge the blood clot that has formed leading to severe pain that will not be managed by medicines, so I would recommend you not to smoke for at least 5 days after the extraction has been done

Hello sir.. Smoking best to be avoided after any dental procedure. Smoking not only reduce wound healing also leads to bad breathe.. N other complications.. Swollen gums, bleeding gums, pain.. Infection

Hello sir.. Good afternoon.. After extraction, it is advised not to smoke till the socket heals.. Because the smoking may cause dry socket and severe pain in the socket and further complications in the extraction site.. So wait atleast three to four weeks.. For complete healing.. Thank you..
