As it appears from the OPG that your right upper and lower molars are impacted and even on left side lower molar is distally locked and is partially impacted. And upper left also requires extraction due to it position. Yes it is necessary for you to get extraction as the pain and infection in the concerned area will keep on repeating, and eventually you will have to undergo extraction. Medicines can provide you interim relief but they are no substitute to extraction.
Next Steps
You should visit a clinic and schedule your appointment with oral and maxillofacial surgeon
Health Tips
Salt and Luke warm water gargling twice a day can provide relief but it’s better to seek help of dentist.

Thanks for sharing OPG. All of the wisdom teeth upper and lower are partially erupted, hence prone to infection of the overlying gum . Antibiotics and analgesics will give relief but his chances of pain and infection recurring. Ultimately will have to extracted / surgically removed. The lower right wisdom tooth is close to the nerve canal which supplies the teeth ,lip etc on right side It is advisable to get a CBCT to see the proximity before planning surgical removal to avoid damaging the nerve during the procedure.
Next Steps
Consult Oral &Maxillofacial Surgeon
Health Tips

An OPG alone cannot always decide extraction. Medicines can reduce pain and infection temporarily, but they cannot cure the underlying dental problem if the tooth is badly decayed, infected, or impacted. Whether extraction is needed depends on symptoms, clinical examination, and the tooth’s condition. Please consult a dentist in person for the correct treatment plan
Next Steps
consult Oral and maxillofacial surgeon

Medicines provide temporary relief. Impacted tooth causes pain due to pressure which can only be treated by extraction of impacted tooth.

Hello, As in the x-ray it is clearly seen that the teeth don’t have enough space to come out like usual teeth around otherwise it would have before the age you are at & its quite common, its best to get it extracted to avoid any discomfort or pain in future as medicine can only deal with pain in short term and not underlying causes

Yes, tooth extraction is indicated as it is impacted against the bone. Medication will give you temporary relief. Both side wisdom teeth are closed to the nerve, so it's better to extract it from an oral surgeon to avoid serious complications.

Hello, Based on the OPG X-ray, it appears that the wisdom tooth is impacted. In such cases, medicines can only give temporary relief by reducing pain or infection, but they do not solve the root cause. If the wisdom tooth is impacted and causing repeated pain, swelling, or infection, extraction is the definitive treatment. Delaying removal may lead to recurrent episodes, damage to the adjacent tooth, or gum infection. If symptoms are mild, short-term medication may help temporarily, but permanent relief is achieved only after extraction. I would recommend consulting your dental surgeon for a clinical examination and planning the procedure at the right time. Hope this helps.
