Get lab test done for your fasting and post-meal blood sugar level.

The first step is a comprehensive dental examination with X-rays to assess which teeth need treatment. Before any surgical procedure, it’s important that your blood sugar is reasonably well controlled. Please share your recent HbA1c value and your current fasting/random blood sugar levels, along with the insulin regimen you are on. Depending on the findings, we can plan your treatment in stages: • Treat cavities to prevent progression. • Perform extraction of the non-restorable tooth and/or wisdom tooth if indicated. • Once your oral health is stable, discuss orthodontic treatment for alignment.
