Persistent ulcer in mouth

Root canal HELL
I just completed my 1ST sitting of RCT. It was hell during that pin insertion. Given anaesthesia 3-4 times.. still same.
Doctor was saying that pain was due to infection and pus. Now no pain.
But Am afraid of next sittings , is there any other way to get treatment without this much pain. The doctor is just 5 years experienced.
