Hello, bad breath could be because of deposits on teeth surface or food lodged in between teeth. Visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done.bad breath could also be because of stomach problems , not enough drinking water, fasting for long time. Brush your teeth twice daily, night brushing is very important. Floss regularly. Rinse after every meal. Visit dentist every 6 months.

Bad breath, medically known as halitosis, is a common problem.Poor oral hygiene, gum disease, tooth decay, or mouth infections can also be causes of halitosis. In your case Orthodontic treatment has relapsed causing the gap. As long as the gaps exist there will be food deposits leading to Bad breath and dental pain. The main reason why braces wearers suffer from bad breath is that the bacteria in the mouth that actually cause bad breath have much more to cling to, and so can multiply with ease.
Next Steps
Visit a Dentist to get Tooth Cleaning and Scaling done to prevent the bad breath. Visit the Orthodontist who treated you to ask if the gap can be closed gain.
Health Tips
It is supremely important to brush your teeth daily, at least two or three times a day. In addition to brushing your teeth, be sure to also brush your gums, the roof of your mouth and your tongue especially well. These spots are often breeding grounds for bacteria and bad breath, so be sure to pay close attention to those areas when brushing. This will help keep much of the bacteria, and the bad breath, at bay. There are many types of anti-bacterial and anti-microbial mouthwash products on the market that can also help eliminate much of the bacteria that lead to bad breath.
