Hello! I have mild pain in my gum since last week. The pain usually lasts for an hour or two every day and I wanted to know if it's a sign of periodontitis? There's plague and tartar buildup as well. I went for a checkup but the dentist suggested to opt for teeth cleaning. Can this be cured by dental cleaning or scaling?

Ulcers & swelling in mouth for last 4-5 days. It started with just pain on left hand side of mouth, slowly ulcers started developing. not able to eat, now even feverish.

I visited dentist for bad breath issue, He did the cleaning and suggested to cleanup every year once. After 3 months same issue started. Then i visited same doctor, He told the gap between teethes are more because of that food residues depositing on the gum causing the issue. Suggested for the Braces to remove the gap between the Braces. I have doubt how the braces solve the bad breath issue, And Braces are painful and time taking treatment.
