Hello Mam,
you need to go back to your dentist and get an x-ray done.In deep restorations, there is always a possibility of the tooth getting infected. You may need a Root canal treatment to salvage the tooth.

Hi,The reason for pain is may be because the filled cavity is deep which can be evaluated with xray .Meanwhile take painkillers to reduce pain & avoid eating from that side.If deep cavity root canal might be required.
