Hi sir/Madam' i had already undergone ROOT CANAL treatment for one of my teeth before 1yr.Now it is paining again

I have my gums swollen and my gums starting to peel out if I do. My doctor said to go for gum cleaning. Is there any other alternative for this? My gums are badly paining and because of that I got fever and I can barely walk. I also got ulcers.
