Tooth Pain
Hi, I got my lower right last wisdom tooth removed on 26th feb. I went for a follow up today i.e on 1st march. My doctor said that the area is clean and after four days we will remove stiches. During conversation she said during surgery one root of your tooth has remain exposed.. Is that a serious problem? I forgot to ask her. please advise me

C if she say tooth is exposed it may b adjac tooth root was exposed due to d proximity of d molar. If u get pain than u have to get Rct with that molar

Hi, It is not a serious problem but in future you may get pain again that itme you have to go for removal.

The root is exposed in the sense what do u mean. Is it one Root is still there un removed?

When the dr said root of the tooth is exposed she may have meant of the adjacent tooth. Sometimes wisdom teeth are placed in such a manner that after extraction the root of adjacent tooth may be exposed. It is normally not a problem. If you have lot of sensitivity with hot and cold then use a tooth paste like sensodyne or Vantej. It normally settles on its own
