I am 27 and i have supernumerary tooth that needs extraction, so , my dentist suggested surgical extraction. is it good for surgical extraction at this age. what are the complications and extraction may cause health problems in the future?

Hello doctor, I guess I have been clenching my jaw in sleep lately as I have repeated cheek bites at the same spot which sometimes results in bleeding and tongue has developed redness over foliate papillae which is also from this i assume because it becomes less as the day progresses and more red when I wake up in the morning.,what kind of treatment dp i need or any solution to this ? I had the maxillary wisdom tooth removed about 10 days ago. It was fully errupted. The gum have already covered the socket and there is no more pain. My only concern is whether the depression or hole that is left after tooth removal get filled or not. Right now, food gets stuck easily. And if it does fill, how long will it take approximately.
