My father was diagnosed with jaundice few months before. Now there is a distension in the abdomen and causing severe pain and breathing problem as well. We have consulted a doctor who suggested to admit in hospital so that they can remove the liquid through injection as the liver is damaged. Is it safe to do so and are there any alternative methods for abdomen distension.
