My mother started having stomach problem ( IBS and blood with stool) and then got covid positive ... after recovering from covid , we approached a gastroenterologist who advised rifagut 400 mg along with other medicines ( pegred powder, nexpro and bifilac hp) later added taxim 0 200mg ... after taking medicines for 15 days there was no result but then basis amoebic serum test ( it came positive ) , Doctor advised metrogyl which helped to cure the problem... there is no stool with blood. My mom took metrogyl for 8 days along with nexpro and bifilac hp.... She is fine now ... Please advise if colonoscopy and any further procedure would be required in this case... she wants to avoid due to post covid weakness... her occult blood test is also negative now... metrogyl showed positive results in one day

I have chronic constipation since three months where am passing hard stools in 2 or 1 day. Also passing a lot of blood during bowel moment In addition to this i am facing acid reflux with heart burn and stomach bloating. There is frequent noise in my stomach. Please help

I am being suffered from severe constipation of 15-20 days everytime i poop and im experiencing blood while pooping and severe pain for 12 hrs after pooping and itching aroud anus im suffering from this kind of thing from my childhood now i want to recover from this but i cant i want to go to poop daily but i cant go because of the fear of the pain and sleepless ness after going to poop plz tell wat should i do and i can find a swelling around anus after going poop

Now, I am experiencing pain while passing stool. Discomfort sometimes while sitting. As for my diet, I am fruits and healthy food only these days. Still no improvement. Please help. Thank you

My grandma is covid positive and she taking some medications prescribed by the doctor and she not able to pass stool more than a week..her doctor has prescribed a syrup but still she's not able pass stole..i dont know the reason..she was hospitalized more than 20 days and was discharged 2 days ago..can anyone please prescribe her a medication to pass stool , because she is suffering a lot...as we are economically low.. couldn't go to hospitals often... please help her..

I have constipation problem and its not for everyday and I dont excrete everyday. Sometimes its easy to excrete and sometimes its difficult. I have noticed when its difficult to excrete I get some thick fluid while getting stools. I have no infection as such as I dont feel those symptoms of itchiness. I have Hypothyroid as well and when I got to know I have thyroid then also I had constipation issues 4 year back. I dont eat junk or something but I dont know why I am facing such indigestion issues. Please help me

3 days i have constipation I try to drink water but not help ...i have headache also before constipation i have lose stool after that i have constipation feeling and headache

I have been facing incomplete evacuation from 45 days. The stools are soft but very little come out . Everyday I wake up with a uncomfortable feeling in the morning. Tried laxatives prescribed by doctor. I eat lots of fibre and drink 10 glasses of water.

For last 2 months I am having gastric problem. Taking PPI & Rifagut for last 20 days on the advice of doctor. Done USG of abdomen, found fatty liver nothing else. As long as take medicine feel bit comfortable but as stop taking medicine it get worsening. Feel burning sensation & mild pain always in stomach which get worse after pooping. For last 2 months I haven't eaten spicy food. Doctor advised me to continue with medicine. Please suggest me should I continue with it or go for another diagnosis. Please suggest me as I am concerned for serious problem
