Hello dr My doctor prescribed Fluoxetine 20 mg once daily in the morning after breakfast, Propranolol 40 mg twice daily, and Clonazepam 0.25 mg at night for OCD and health anxiety. After 10 days, my doctor advised increasing Fluoxetine to 40 mg daily, and I have started taking 40 mg once daily. However, I am currently taking Propranolol 40 mg only once daily instead of twice. I want to confirm if this is okay and whether increasing Fluoxetine to 40 mg can cause any side effects or long-term effects on the liver or kidneys.

I was having constipation after eating kuttu atta. Now I when i eat heavy outside food I get pain in lower abdomen muscles. Is this due to strained muscles. I pushed bowel hard when constipated. Anything I can do to make it better?

I am a 28-year-old with Thyroid and a BMI of 32.0. I have been taking 50mcg of Thyroxine for one month, and my TSH is shigh at 10.5 mIU/L, and my HbA1c is 6.0%. Despite being physically active with swimming and recently started gyming, I am experiencing complete weight loss resistance and a high Visceral Fat level of 18. My biggest struggle right now is that I feel I have absolutely no control over my hunger; I experience intense 'food noise' and the urge to binge even immediately after eating full meals. I recently completed my Vitamin D treatment, but my metabolism feels completely stalled. I would like to know if my thyroid dose needs to be increased and if I am a candidate for Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) to help manage this uncontrollable hunger ?? I really want to lose weight as I'm out of energy and all day I feel inactive and sleepy

JAN-SGPT 150,SGOT 50,BILIRUBIN 1.6,EOSINOPHIL 12% FEB-SGPT 88,SGOT 38,BILIRUBIN 1.3,EOSINOPHIL 4% MARCH-SGPT 63,SGOT 41,BILIRUBIN 1.4,EOSINOPHIL 7%;esr,chest xray and ecg normal,Hep b & c clear[loss of appetite,weight loss,chest pressure on both side,recurrent pain in shoulder,heel,finger joint,back of throat in december but in january somewhat disappear but throat pain back in march,Stomach irritation,rare pain in left lower and upper abdomen,fatigue,nausea,borborygmi,feel sick more from morning to evening,in February end few blanching pin red rash under feet now disappear and rare lower abdomen/bladder pain this time,stool ok,no fever]WHY DOCTORS IGNORING EOSINOPHIL up and down even after pointing it out. Lifestyle is  balanced, no alcohol or smoking in life, eat less oily home food.

I have been suffering from GERD for approximately 10 years. My symptoms have been persistent and significantly affect my daily life. I experience severe heartburn and a constant sensation of breathlessness, even with minimal physical activity such as walking or slight body movements. The breathing difficulty is one of my most concerning symptoms. I did endoscopy 4 times so far , did 24h ph test and esophageal Manometry as well my demeester score is 17 and Acid exposure time is 4.2% and Manometry is normal I have tried multiple treatments over the years, including (PPIs, PCABs), and low-dose amitriptyline, but none have provided lasting or significant relief. Despite ongoing treatment, my symptoms continue to worsen or remain unchanged, and my quality of life is severely impacted. I would like to understand whether surgical options such as anti-reflux surgery could be effective in my case, and what evaluations or tests would be required to determine if I am a suitable candidate.

My 5 year daughter has vomiting 3-4 times in the night with mild stomach pain,first 2 times normal vomit and then watery vomiting.please suggest medication.

Hi my 13year old daughter has been going through diarrhea for the past consecutive days.. its her 8th day going through it.. shes experiencing pale yellow stool evreytime she goes to the washroom.. 1 day it stops the other day it again starts I've been giving her interogermina for the last 4 days no change noticed..

Quit smoking/drinking 3 months ago.  Anxiety fluctuates; stress/news/work trigger panic (latest after office fight). Still working but fear losing control. Financial strain from repeated visits.  Which Dr to visit what to do further?
