Dear doctor, few months back my wife noticed that she has swelling around her anus and sometimes it bleeds. Then we met doctor n she asked her to take warm water tub treatment and to apply annovate ointment over there. Later she was fine. Now again she is facing the same issue but this time it bleeds very rarely. She feels swelling there. Plz give suggestion and provide doctor details in Chennai if any. Thanks...

Hello doc last weak I started take autrin tablets as I have deficiency of blood . But from that day only my stool colour has changed to dark black . Initial 2 3 days I felt it will change change but it's more than 8 days now its the same plz can u tell me what's the problem coz I read on net abt that color it's said something like( bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract such as stomach ) Plz tell me what should I do Thank u

I was diagnosed with peptic ulcer last year I have consulted gastroenterologist once in three months and he prescribed rabeprazole and anti biotic to curb the growth of h-pylori. One year since then I have been taking rabeprazole 20mg twice daily. Now I couldn't stop consuming rabeprazole as it intensifies the heart burn and stomach ache if not taken for a day. 1. Will there be any side effect consuming rabeprazole for this long period ? 2. Can this be cured completely ? 3. Does it need a lapro to tighten the acid value ? 4. Will lapro cure the ulcer completely and never come back ? Note : I never smoked or consumed alcohol Take non-veg twice in a month(lean meat or fish ) No soft drinks for past one year. Never had coffee

I have external piles and upon check up, I was told I've Grade 3 piles. Doctor told me to get a colonoscopy. However I'm afraid to go for it because many of the online articles say it has some risks like perforation of colon. Kindly let me know if colonoscopy is a must in my case.

I was having loose motions and was suffering from body pain. I consulted a doctor and he prescribed some medicines- Nor-Tz, ranidom-rd, Meftal-forte and Roko. My loose motions are in control now but i feel strange down there in my stomach... It's like always full and I'm belching like every 10-15 mins... Even i stopped taking those medicines except Ranidom-rd. Took "Eno" but of no use.. what's wrong?

Sir my 4 months old Son is having liquid & foam type of yellow stools 8 times a day after his location changed to Kolkata from Lucknow. My Son only consumes Mothers milk. Mother is pure RO water consumer. "Folcovit Distab" is the medicine given by my local doctor in form of half capsule in mothers milk. Please tell me is this tablet is safe for the 4 months baby? First report of USG it shows hypoechoic lever abcess(177ml). And after treatment of 7 days latest USG says- There is anechoic lever abcess (350cc) in right lobe. Please tell me is it normal condition or it needs further treatment.
