Does toor dal, green gram, urad dal, etc cause gastric or acidity? And are there people from South India, where Dal is one of the staple food, that dal doesn't suit?

I get stomach pain after eating food, the pain increases after lying down in the bed. The pen is felt in left and sometimes middle of the abdomen. After burping there is relief.
