I understand that you're feeling anxious and worried about your symptoms. Opinion: Anxiety can manifest in various ways and can cause physical symptoms such as digestive issues, including changes in bowel movements. It's important to address your concerns and seek support from a healthcare professional who can provide a proper evaluation and guidance. Next steps: 1. Consult with a healthcare provider: I recommend scheduling an appointment with a healthcare provider, such as a primary care physician or a mental health professional, to discuss your symptoms and concerns. They can conduct a thorough evaluation, consider your medical history, and provide appropriate guidance and support. 2. Discuss your anxiety medication: If you have been taking anxiety medication for three years and are still experiencing symptoms, it may be helpful to discuss this with your healthcare provider. They can assess the effectiveness of your current medication and consider alternative treatment options or adjustments to your current regimen. 3. Seek therapy or counseling: Anxiety can be effectively managed with therapy or counseling. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common approach that can help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns and develop coping strategies for managing anxiety. 4. Practice stress management techniques: Incorporating stress management techniques into your daily routine can be beneficial for managing anxiety. This may include activities such as deep breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation, regular physical exercise, and engaging in hobbies or activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Remember, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional who can provide personalized advice and support based on your specific situation. They will be able to assess your symptoms, provide a proper diagnosis, and guide you towards appropriate treatment options.
