My dad diagnosed with Acute pancreatitis it's been 5days now . He suffered with severe stomach pain and undergone serum amylase lipase tests , first day amylase was 850 u/l and it has become 217 . Doctors sent my dad home and prescribed few medicines . I would like to know what is this condition and how serious it could be kindly help me .i can provide all the reports. Need an expert advice .

I was suffering from gastrointestinal troubles from lot of days. Half an hour or one-hour after a meal, my stomach starts grumbling and gas comes out. I tried relieving the gas in the morning itself by many ways but couldn't. This is causing serious trouble and I'm not able to stay anywhere outside of the home. Added to this from three days my stomach started paining and also I'm affected slightly by diarrhea. The pain in the stomach will not last for longer. It's only there severely for a minute or two and out goes off. And most importantly three is always a feeling in the gut to go to toilet for motion. For months now every time I use the bathroom it's very soft stool to the point it basically falls out after I push. Then for days it will be burning watery stool unless I store it up for a few days and then it'll be one or two days of the loose but more solidified stool and the cycle repeats. It feels like I have to go more but I push so hard I get light headed and nothing happenes

Hi My friend(44years) is having this extremely severe prickly needle pain in her upper right abdomen from 2 months. She got an ultrasound , blood test , endoscopy done,slight enlargement in liver,which doctor told is negligible. But her pain is increasing day by day. She cannot stay a moment without holding her hand on the stomach, because of the unbearable pain,it's from morning to night.night time she gets sleep because of some medications.please somebody help,how to identify what's the issue.
