Charcoal Mask's color changed

I ordered a cheap charcoal mask from online for my blackheads on nose and but it was left unused for a few weeks. As I opened it today I was it has become translucent and has lost its black colour significantly. Should I stop using it?(Also my blackheads have stayed there though reduced than before, any suggestions for that is appreciated)
