Skin, Hair and Nail Problems

All of a sudden my nail started to pain and turned white in color. Now my nail has almost pulled outer side and the whitish yellow fungal has been created. As per some research I found that applying Vicks can help from fungus. Is it true Is there any ointment or cream which I can use. How can I treat it. Please suggest. I am completely clueless about it.
