Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hello Doctor, I am having grade 1 fatty liver , can I take liv52 syrup 2 times a day after lunch and dinner for 1 month? After 1 month if I stop does this syrup cause habituated like if I stop immediately causing any addiction effect? And does liv52 cause any side effects as liv52 is ayurvedic medicine I assume no side effects. Please suggest

Hello Doctor, My daughter is 2.5 months old, and she is having cold and cough from last 2 days. As advised by doctor we are using solvin cold AF syrup[6 drops] twice in a day, but we don't see any improvement. Baby is having around 15+ sneezing in a day with wheezing sound and Phelgum and also passing green colour stools little qty 3 to 4 times a day,  and always prefers to sleep, as if she is tired. We didn't observe any issue in breathing, and feeding is normal [little less compared when she is active].. Is there anything to worry, or it is just a infection due to water or climate change... Please suggest if any precautions or any medicine to follow. Thanking you in advance

My son(march 2013 born) is getting recurrent cold and cough since november 2016..usually before that he treated with levolin syrup alone when he was in 2nd year after that once we had to go to nebulisation and after twice he had taken montelukast tablet along with levolin.this is the case when he was having viral only.since birth only twice given antibiotics when fever arises along with cold cough. Now yesterday doc gave him cipla huf puf kit with seroflo and montelukast tab for 2 months and one syrup broxum P. Never tell to give steam but whrnever i give him steam he s relieved. After having 2 puffs of seroflo (salmeterol and fluticasol) developed fast breathing with mouth about after an hour). That breathing was clearly visible it was like he is putting effort to breath.his speech also little disturbed..anyone will come to know something wrong is there..then he slept and and was fine after that.now morning also fine..i have not given any puffs in morning... Please help.

Last week (tuesday) baby has runny nose and fever 99.2, so doc prescribed her calpol 2.5 as need, mucolyte syrup 1 ml twice daily, n taxim 2 ml twice daily for 5 days. Her fever subsided after 3 days but she started coughing at night and also the mucous discharge from nose thickened. So doc prescibed maxtra 2.5 ml twice daily for cough. All doses completed but she is still coughing and having khar khar noise while breathing.she is playful but appetite is less. What should I do for cough. I am little concern. As it is more than a week. Please suggest. Baby is 1 yr old n weight is 9.5 kg. From yesterday doc has started mucolyte for 5 days and also we are giving her nebulizer 2-4 times a day. Symptoms started 7 days back - Sore throat, difficulty swallowing, Larynx inflammation (partial loss of voice), cough, sinus headache & red, watery eyes. NO fever, runny nose, or nasal congestion. Now eyes & headaches are better.  But, dry non-productive cough throughout the night for last 3 nights resulting in no sleep.  Treatment so far - Paracetamol & Benadryl Dry Cough syrup. Can't continue without any rest at night. Please suggest remedies/treatment for my ailment, especially the nonstop cough at night.  Should I go see a doctor or will it resolve on its own with self care? On 6th evening she got a fever  100.2 we gave PP250 mg 2.5 ml and in night she had bad cough unable to produce mucous and had fever we again gave PP250 mg 2.5 ml  on 7th Nov we change medicine Sinarest syrup and Ventryl. we gave 4ml as and when fever was there, we use sinarest thrice in a day cough and mucous become thick and cough was not irritating as much now but fever keeps repeating.  7th Nov fever chart 101.7 @ 10 am 100.8 @4:30 PM 101.2 @ 10 PM  in early morning 8th Nov 101.5 @ 5AM now we restarted giving PP250 same 2.5 ml and Ventryl 4 ml.  11 Am we gave Sinarest fever was 99.8 11;30 we gave Ventryl 4 ml 02;00 ;30 PM she again got fever 101.4 We gave PP250 ml 3;00 PM 102.1 fever  07 PM 99 F 09;00 PM 102.9 After Dr. Consulting giving Nobel plus 7.5 ml  Zifi 100 dry syrup 2.5 ml Ventryl  7.5 ml Montecope 7.5 ml With prescription to give thrice in day Currently she is refusing to eat any thing however taking ample of water and mom's breastfeeding Please suggest 

Hi, I am Ajeet. A month back I have noticed that I need to clear my throat more often so that I can remove the mucus. It's more when I exercise. Otherwise too it's there. I have tried cough syrup - macberry dx recommended by a doctor but the mucus is still there. The mucus is usually liquidy white color. Please suggest, I am really worried

5.5 month old baby had viral fever about 103 for 2 days n suffering from loose motions from 15 days. Also have cold n cough. Medicines ongoing: Mextra syrup, weltone z drops, ascoryl drops, novagermina, fepanil drops. Stil not recovering.
