Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My daughter has manageable cough in the day and active. It gets worse in the night that she gets severe bouts of cough (dry but I feel some mucus is stuck in chest and not coming out)that doesn't stop. She wakes up 2-3 times like this . She is currently taking levocet and ambroxil syrup from the past 2 days. When cough gets worse at night takes Asthalin puff. I was giving her Amoxicillin 600mg 5ml which was reduced to 2.5 now as the doc felt it's high dose. We are on day 5. How long should I wait for this to improve or should I get second opinions? We have done an x ray and it looks cloudy on the left lung. I am very worried about how long this will take to improve.

Hi My grandmother age is around 70 . She is shaving fever , cough and body pain . I am worried about her doctors are not allowing us as they directly said that do the covid 19 test first . I have done her test today but it will take almost 48 hours for the report . Until then her condition will get even worse if we don't treat her . Please suggest some good medicine for her fever and cough. For cough any syrups can be used? Please note two three days before she had a stomach problem too. Her ecg was normal.and suger test was also normal . Her oxygen level was below 90 around 85. Hoping some help from here . Thank you

I have twins 9month old babies...both having cold n wet cough am giving...cheston n taxim o syrup...as per my doctor instructions...but today while I removing wet cough from mouth with kafha he got bit blood...n from nose he got bit blood but I dont no wen it was bleed...so pls suggest bec of over heat r bec of medicine...am worried lot...

My 3 years daughter got fever on 18-feb and consult pediatric doctor he written tests like CBC, ESR,IGE and poriten test. There everything is normal except ESR=36. He told there is infection in blood and given one Anti-botic syrup, cough(s-mucolite) and cold (L -montus kid tab) medicine for 5 days. After 5 days one late night she had heavy coughing and again consult same Doctor again changed medicine only antibiotic syrup. And after two days again she has heavy fever (103.5) on 25-feb after given a bath (lite warm water) and after that consult the. Same Doctor once again he has changed Anti-botic medicine again and done chest X-ray in that rediaology doctor mention that "FEW BRONCHITIS HAS CHANGED " and all other are normal. And my doctor said use this changed Anti-botic for 2 days on 27-feb. But today (1-Mar) she has got little bit fever of 100 f and given colpal-250. But one good thing is from 2 days she is not coughing heavy. May i know the reason why this Fever again and again ?

My baby girl is 1 year n 3 months old and she is having cough from 4 days and fever from 2 days but no running nose and doctor prescribed SINEREST Af syrup 1 ml in the morning and ASCORIL LS Afternoon n night 1.5ml and L montus 1.5 ml in the night and MEFTAL P And Medimol drops alternatively every 4 to 6 hours. And from 2 days she s on medication but the cough has not reduced and fever is also coming every 4 hours and kindly suggest wt to be done ? No running nose

My mother is having cough for one month or so. We recently went to the allopathy doctor where he gave tests for blood and X-ray. X-ray report was normal but TLC came out to be high 17600. Hb is 10. Neutrophil 34 (below range), lymphocyte 64. ESR and CRP are high. He gave antibiotics Clavam625 thrice daily and cough syrup Rewas. The day of visit the SPOc was 94. Can anyone suggest is the treatment in right direction and any concern points ? Please suggest. Very much worried.

Hi sir , since two days am having cough and its increasing my pulse rate and my heart is fluttering pounding even when i sleep i had done my ecg echo chest x ray in the month of march do i need torepeat again all the test ? Whenever am coughing sometimes i feel something happening in my chest like my heart is coming out or getting congested kind of am panicking so much please help me why sometimes i have this pain also my feet z neck twitching sometimes i feel uneasy and afraid of my health please let me know benadryl syrup will help me ,? Hi, my son who is 4 yrs old is frequently getting fever, cold and cough. Fever is getting reduced after giving calpol syrup for 2 days. Also cold and cough are coming bit down with medication. But again after 4 to 5 days he is again getting fever. This is happening from almost 3 to 4 months. Not understanding the reason ,done a blood test and got the report of c reactive protein as 82.5 While the reference range in report is <5. My pediatrician is saying it as normal. But still fever coming for every 4 to 5 days repeatedly. Can someone please help to understand about this problem.

I have shortness of breath due to dry cough in heart (as per X ray) and even I have acidity currently. Doctor provided Cough syrup, Acid reflux tablets and Acidity tablets. I have visited doctor 3 times, but it's not clear yet. Feel like I can't take full breath through nose (feels like something blocking) and breath lasts in chest diaphragm, it won't go further. RT PCR is negative, oxygen level is around 97 and respiration rate is 15. What needs to be done?
