Cold and cough
Hello Doctor,
My daughter is 2.5 months old, and she is having cold and cough from last 2 days.
As advised by doctor we are using solvin cold AF syrup[6 drops] twice in a day, but we don't see any improvement.
Baby is having around 15+ sneezing in a day with wheezing sound and Phelgum and also passing green colour stools little qty 3 to 4 times a day, and always prefers to sleep, as if she is tired.
We didn't observe any issue in breathing, and feeding is normal [little less compared when she is active]..
Is there anything to worry, or it is just a infection due to water or climate change...
Please suggest if any precautions or any medicine to follow.

Better to visit pediatrician.infants deteriorates faster than older children.if baby fever than it is worrisome and take treatment as advised by pediatrician.

Hello.
Its just nasal blockage. Since the baby's nostrils are small her nose get blocked too often, in response to this baby sneezes repeatedly and develop cough and noisy breathing.
Drop nasoclear 2 drops nasally every 4 hours amd clean each nostril with cotton.
Give steam inhalation with plain water 2-3 times a day. Keep giving breastmilk

Is she having fever also?
Is there anyone suffering from covid 19 who was in contact with child?
You have mentioned child prefers to sleep.
This could be due to Sinarest AF medicine.
Next Steps
Watch for any danger sign like not feeding well,
High grade fever, Difficulty in breathing.
U may visit a nearby pediatrician if any of above is present .
If not better by 2 days, then also u might have to visit the doctor.
