9 month baby down with cough and cold.
My nine month baby is suffering from cold and cough for the last 3 weeks. she is having bad throat and is not able to sleep at night. I can hear some sort of sound coming when she breathes. because of this sound she is not comfortable and cries a lot at night. I have been giving her Maxtra drops, Ascoril LS drops, Switch drops. but no medicine is helping her. kindly help me as she is so small that I cant see her in pain every night.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo. Any cough for more than 7 days needs proper evaluation and management. Please revisit pediatrician.

Meanwhile, give plenty of fluids and warm water to drink to keep baby hydrated. Also use saline nasal drops.
