Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Sir, I have been having cough for the last 20-25 days, which is sometimes wet and sometimes dry. I also caught cold twice between this time interval. initially it was only cough with mucus, lately, i have been feeling a mild sensation of pain in my chest(mostly in left side, sometimes in right too), and chest feels heavy most of the time. mucus: color varies. sometimes dark and thick, sometimes light and yellowish. No blood. At present, the cold is mostly gone and mucus discharge has been largely reduced. smoking history: 4 years (on an average 3-4 cigarette per day), haven't smoked for the last 6-7 days, since the conditioned worsened. No family history in such conditions. No fever. Kindly suggest what could be possibly wrong? is it just a routine chest infection or something far more worrisome? please help!!

I started having dry cough 5 days back for which I took brozedex syrup for 2 days. Then I showed a doctor who prescribed me Allegra and  hagimox tablets 3 times a day. I still feel the same infact my chest feels more congested now and some mucus has started to form. I am having continuous coughs now. Today a chemist gave me sumo tablets, mintekulast plus acebrophyllin tablets, Mahacef plus tablets and grinlintus bm syrup. Is it okay / better to have these medicines?

My baby is suffering from phelgm and cough n chest congestion since 15 days now. Thebdocbhad prescribed 5 ml 1AL syrup and 5 ml T98 DS syrup in case of fever, both 3 times a day for 3 days. We have completed the course but it isnt helping much and the coughing is persistent. He feels hot very fast, hence insists the AC to be on, i keep it on for a few hrs. His age is 2 yrs 7 months and he weighs around 18 kg

Hi i am really tense with my cough.consulted few doctors and everyone says its bronchitis but i dont get relief from any of the medicines changed few doctors but no improvement i cough so much that it is paining so much in my chest took different medicines like lcz plus gramocef 200,seretide inhaler. Forocort inhaler,winolap and everything from montec lc syrup ascoril,syrup grillinctus.and nothing is happening am so fed up know that i don't feel like taking medicines as this problem comes after every two months please suggest something as i cant sleep all night i want my sputum to come out as its giving me chest pain as well with continue cough all day and night thanks

Dear mam Weight 8.5kgs 6 month started We giving neubilisation also at home with 3% ns water  Baby having loose stools per day around 8 since a week . Before that and now also he was having cough and runny nose we used antiboitic nad stopped since a week even though he was getting loose stools pls  advice. And we have not given vaccine also for 5th month pls advice .. 1. May I know if he getting tooth than also motions will come or not becoz my parents saying it will be might be for tooth is it real or not 2. pls advice any syrup for motions becoz no use with derolac and sporlac sachets which I given . 3. And for cough can I use ambrodyl syrup for 6 month running baby or not pls advice with quantity per dose .

Hello Dr. I am facing Problem of Dry Cough From last one month along with Shortness of breath for last 1 week ... I Consulted With ENT specialist ... Dr. Give me Grilinctus BM syrup & Allegra M tab but I am not Getting better... Before that I also took LCF LS syrup for not getting better... I am smoker (20Sticks per day)... My X-ray report is also normal... Every morning when I wake up I feel my throat is full of dry cough & Irritation in Throat...I am also taking medication for Anxiety disorder from last 2 months ...... Hello doctor, I’ve had a persistent cough for about 3 months now. I’ve done a chest X-ray and sputum test, and both came back normal. My symptoms include: - Chest pain when I cough  - White mucus  - Throat pain (recent)  - Strange ear discomfort (feels like scratching or pressure before coughing) The medications I was given (Cefadroxil and cough syrup) haven’t solved it. Please could this be postnasal drip, asthma, or something else? What tests or treatment would you recommend?

I am having dry cough (it itches on my back of the throat) since since 7 years. The cough intensity varies from day to day but  it has always been there every single day since 2015. Cough syrups suprress it for sometime. No treatment has worked for me till date. I have done bronchoscopy and allergy test. Bronchoscopy report was normal. I am allergic to certain allergens which i try to stay away from. Ige always ranges between 200 to 400. Whenever i go to any doctor they give me inhalers like foracort, aerocort and sereflo. But whenever i use inhalers it increases my chest irritation and cough. Can anyone explain why?

Dear Doctor, As per mentioned subject my wife age is 35 years suffering from heavy dry cough since more than 15days she continue heavy coughing 24 hrs we consultant md doctor as per his opinion she is having asthama and allergic cough doctor give her medicine as below also her blood and urine report seems normal Medicine as below Tab. Cefakind CV 500 twice time per day Tab. Doxomax XP twicetime per day Syrup Grilinctus BM thrice time per day And nebuliser 2 time per day Please suggest for further treatment She is not well yet what is execat medicine for heavy allergic dry cough please suggest

My wife is 37 week pregnant and from last 5 days she is having cough problem.. we consulted the doctor twice and they recommended augmentin 625 duo tab , coldlarc cough syrup, nebulisation with levolin 0.63 mg, steam inhalation, salt water gargles but nothing seems to be working as she is doing cough full day and night.. due to this cough it shakes whole body which in turn give immense pain in abdomen.. requesting any doctor to please give me quick and permanent solution for this as she is about to reach her delivery in next 10-12 days...she is going through very rough period so please don't just say consultation req we already took two online consultation and one offline.. tabs we are taking from 4 days so 1 more day left for that and nebulization started from yesterday..
