My daughter aged 20 days. She is coughing and sneezing excessively at night. Only at night and very rarely during the day. Throughout the day time she is sleeping peacefully ( cough and sneeze occasionally twice or thrice) but during the night coughing and sneezing excessively and resultantly not sleeping. We have consulted pediatric 2 days ago. Doctor examined and told nothing to worry and prescribed saline nasal drop and Mucolite cough syrup drop. But situation not improving. Breastfeed, urine and poop is normal.

Hi , my son 13 years old is having severe cough ( keeps coughing all the time, even at night) continuously for last 2-3 weeks and having fever on and off... He took antibiotic course one week back too ...but cough didn't go at all and fever has also recurred , 102.5 degrees...today only he has started antibiotic cefuroxime for 3 days, cough syrup tusq d for 5 days, dolo and mental dt 250 for fever sos,  steam inhalation, montair LC once for 5 days.. Please advise if this is fine ?

I am breastfeeding mother. I got fever cold cough two weeks back, along with my mother and son. Fever went next day after taking paracetamol and antibiotics. But cough and mucus was there. Its more at evening and night. Or early morning. Now im taking ambrodil syrup. I feel relief when taking three times a day 5 ml. But is it safe for breastfeeding?? It ws suggested by my doctor and i have been taking it more than 5 days, but cough and mucus still there. If one day there's no cough or mucus, next day it starts. Il be completing two weeks when it started. What can be done?? My baby too gets nose blockd at night or i can hear mucus when he breathe

My son had running nose and fever on Tuesday evening. Gave calpol p250 4 doses until yesterday night. Since yesterday he started mild cough and today it is more. He is coughing continuously and breathing with mouth. He has some wheezing like sound while breathing and his chest movements are deep and short intervals for every breath than normal day. For cough, we gave 3 doses of PCF syrup for kids as prescribed by a near by doc when we went last time around 1 month back for fever with cough. Shall we continue with pcf or need to visit hospital for further treatment? Kindly assist.

My Mother was having persistent cough in Jan'21 and then decreased gradually till Feb'21 End. Then took Vaccine : Covaxin on 23rd Mar'21, And the cough started within 1-2 days again. Consulted Doctor, did covid 19 test but results were -ve, CT Scan report found was Normal too.. Only in CRP test it was positive with score 8.9, Started Medication with all sorts of Dry Cough Syrups but no improvement.. Recently have started Wamox CV625... but still cough is there, Please guide what could be the possible reason and to get it cured

13 days before my 19 month old son got running nose and mild cough and later he got fever with temperature 100.3 immediately I gave p125 syrup 3 ml and the fever got cured.later he got developed with thick mucus and very sticky thick dirt in his nose I didn't give any medications other than nasal drops till now. We are currently staying in Chennai and went to blore.he got cold after we returned from bangalore and it is second time he s getting cold when we returned from bangalore. Now he is suffering with Little dry cough mostly while sleeping and mild congestion nd he is asking water by coughing and drinking more water whenever he s coughing. Please suggest is this Normal or he needs medications.

Hi, Heavy cough and cold fever. my baby girl has 2 years 6 months . She is suffering heavy coughing and cold, and also fever also coming with around 100 F for days from 12th Aug, 2016. Today night (14-8-2016), she has suffered with heavy coughing and not able to sleep also. On 12th Aug we went to doctor, he suggested Alaspran AG, one Oral syrup of novamix for infection and p25. We are using these medicine since from that day. But day by day condition is becoming serious at nights. She is not able to sleep with this heavy cough. Lahat i need to do could any one (prediction) please suggest me.

It started few months back when my mom would suddenly start coughing while she would be asleep. A month back she felt feverish with more frequent coughing. That's when she went to a nearby clinic and they gave a prescription for 3 days. TLC, DLC, ESR and platelet tests were done and they all are normal. But there has been no relief from those medicines. Last week as well as today, she went to CGHS and the doctors did prescribe some more medicines but the situation is same. Mom still coughs a lot and feels very week. She doesn't have fever any more. Today's prescription is- B Complex, cetrizine, Levoflox, Montair, Mucinic and a cough syrup. Please suggest if this will help in the cure.
