Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hi Its been almost more than a month. Cough has reduced but not gone.. I have consulted doctors which could reduce it but not completely gone. In this case.could you please advise me what would be the reason for it.Also kind of pain has grown up in the chest region, Is there any thing danger in this? Please do advise me. My father had this big cough for 10 years.he tried many medicines and  inhaler also with doctors prescription. But there is not any change happened.he don't have any asthma problem. He had a type of dry cough.is there any remedies for this problem?
