My son usually gets these bouts of cold n cough. Frequency increases in the monsoon. However, I avoid giving medicines but eventually end up giving one! Like Piriton CS or Cetzine syrup. Can I do something to build his immunity

Few days ago i had severe dry cough and mild fever for which i was give Gulfadryl syrup , further the pharmacist prescribed me Paracetamol & Amoxycillin & potassium clavulanate 625 twice daily , after an hour of taking the medicine, i puked & was nauseous , lost weight as well in just a day, was i given wrong medication ?

My daughter (1 and a half year old) is having cough and there is mucus. there is some sound while she breaths that too rarely. We started giving her yesterday night 2 ml of Cetrizine syrup. Doctor has told to give for 3 days daily in night. Her food intake is also less.Please advice can we continue or we have to change.

Dear Doctor: My daughter is 4-1/2 years and she has cough for the last 5 months..We have consulted three doctors and they gave some syrups and the syrups gave only intermittent relief, if we leave the syrups for 2 days again she begins to cough. We tried some conservative measures like boiled ginger water with honey and it is also worthless. We are confused and do not know what to do...Now, we are giving Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Chlorphenairamine maleate & Phenylephrine Hydrochloride Syrub. Our general doc told that she has some muscle growth on sides of her tonsils and advised us to give her a solution named Povidone-Iodine Germicide Gargle 10 mL to gargle. Is there any final solution? or will it be cured on its own?
