Lactulose syrup while breastfeeding
I'm 2 weeks postpartum mother. Can I take lactulose syrup for constipation while breastfeeding my newborn? She's also admitted in nicu for 6 days after birth for at the risk of sepsis. I'm very worried about her health.

Constipation is very common in pregnancy and afterwards.
This can cause piles or fissure as well.
I would recommend to get treatment for your constipation instead of just using syrup lactulose..you can't take this syrup on a daily basis.
Any medications should not be taken on a daily basis.
