Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

My son do have fever and severe cough once in every three months since from his birth. Fever only subsides during medication and it takes 5 to 6 days to recover fully. What could be the reasons. Concern Dr says it is just viral infection. Please help

3 days back, I had a night shift in Office. In night office room temperature was very low due to maintenance of computer cubes. After that night, I feel very cold. Every days taking 2 times vapour and 2 times gurgling. Water is not coming from nose, but lil bit yellowish or reddish cough is coming out of throat. But cN feel cough in chest. Very lil pain in hand , leg and head. Fever is very low sometimes. Please suggest what medicine and precautions to take now??
