Recently Answered Questions on wet cough syrup

Hi Dr I came to my hometown from Chennai before 11 days and I have been self isolating in my home since then. Before coming here i have a very lil cough on my last day in Chennai. Later when I reached my hometown the cough seems to get better but in reality it is still there. Comparitively, it is lil higher comparing to the time when I was in Chennai. And also I feel like my nose gets little stuffy. With all this symptoms, I'm very much afraid now about getting coronoa. Can u pls advise me wat I want to do now?

Dr I have throat pain on one side and dry cough.. I have diagnosed with acid reflux. Montair lc, pan d, mucaine gel and lary spray m using now... But m bit worried after taking 8 days medicine still I am facing problem.. Particularly m bothered about dry cough... No other symptoms... I am bit worried Is this happening bczz of acid reflux or wt...pls reply me... Staying at home since month.

Persistant cough, was on antibiotics levo floxocin500 mg for 5 days and then changed to pulmocef 500 still no sing of relief from cough...Tests done for TB and reports are negative. No fever till date except shivering hands. CT scan reports attached. Currently on Tacrolimus 1.75 BD, Cellcept 750 mcg BD and wysolone 7.5mg OD..

I have a cough for past 15 days. I took treatment at nearby clinic. Dr. give me syp. Reswas,tab. Adcast-FX, tab.Zincold . Above drugs did not reduce cough. I have no symptoms of cold ,fever ,headache ,difficulty of breathing and body pain .No communication with Corona affected area or person not  travel history. please suggest me effective drugs.

My son 3.8 yr old has cough every now n than ...when I give medicine for 5days it stop than after 2or 3 days it again start... medicine which I m giving asthakind 3.5ml 3times n montair 4mg tablet for 5days whenever he has cough I do this.n things get in control...can u tell me is it ok to give montair in gap in a month

My daughter who is 2.10 years old was passing semi solid pasty stools 7 times on last wednesday and fever for 3 days . on doctor consulation, he prescribed ofloxocin 5ml , bifilac 5ml. from yesterday she has running nose and mild cough. i gave her corex 2.5ml and zyrcold 5 ml. could you please advice ? my husband and myself had cough and fever.

My mother aged 50yrs is suffering from prolonged dry coughing Like it occurs at a gap of 10days and gets cured within a day or two after taking some medicine like honitus and again reappears within 10 days and gets cured after 2 days by taking honitus She is a patient of hypertension and takes Olmesar A20,metzok 100,nexito forte each as per doctor's advice Is this prolonged dry coughing the side effects of medicine? Or does it signals anything else?

I frequently get cough formation and fever type problem whenever I get to work under AC. But in my work environment, AC is unavoidable. Thick cough formation often give problem to sleep due to nose blockage and suffocation kind of breathing problem. Sometime it will not affect for sometimes and gets accumulated and becomes little more at once. Every time I consult some physician, they suggest some medicines which temporarily cures it. But I need a permanent solution for this. Is there any permanent solution treatment to get adjusted to AC without affecting? If I have to consult some specialist for this, I am not sure which specialist would help me in this.

Having continuous cough since 4 weeks. I consulted a physician at the start of 2nd week. He told that it's a viral and throat infection, which will go away in some time. My condition was getting better. But i have been travelling since last 3 days, and had cold water and beer. Since then my condition has worsened. Today cough was continuous and intolerable. My kid is suffering from cough and running nose for past 2 days ,she vomited yesterday, vomit full of mucus, she is playful and no fever ,normal body temperature ,today running nose has been reduced and cough also better, shall I apply camphor dissolved warm coconut oil massage or baby vicks, please suggest
