Recently Answered Questions on Misoprostol

I had 6 weeks pregnancy,it was missed abortion case.my doctor gave me misoprostone and misoprostol through vagina.at the first day of pill one small lemon size clot came after that on 4th and 5th day 2 or 3 small clots came out.today is 6th bleeding is vary slow only morning and eveing time some spotting seems.so is it right going.cramping were stopped on third day.so is everything normal and till when i should wait to stop bleeding and when i need to visit my doctor for USG.

I took mifepristone yesterday and planned to take misoprostol today. But due to some urgent work I won't be able to get proper rest today. If I take misoprostol tomorrow would it make any difference? I am five week pregnant and the time gap btwn mifepristone and misoprostol will be 48 - 52 hours. Will it work properly?

Recently my doctor avised to terminate the pregnancy and given Termipil Kit. I use mifepristone for abortion and before taking misoprostol bleeding started. Then doctor advised to take rest 4 tablets in a gap of 1 hour on Day 3. I had First 2 Medicines and had little food. Later, after an hour I took another 2 medicines. After waiting for 40-45 mins I vomited. Please advise if I have to repeat the course or is it fine and the first 2 medicines are enough to work.

I used the misoprostol for abortion 3rd november at about 12:16am, around 4am i started bleeding anf having very painful cramps, i pooed as well about three times. I had normal bleeding since then but yesterday night i drank this moringa leaf tea and this morning i noticed that the bleeding was reduced drastically, pls am i safe and is the abortion affected?

It's been 7days she got to know that she's pregnant while UPT was +ve and when done TVU she was said she is 4-5 weeks at gestational age without yolk sac and fetal pole so she took medicinal method for abortion under doctor prescription the first dose of mifestrone was taken in the clinic orally after 24hrs she felt little cramps and after 48hrs 4 dose of misoprostol was given 2 dose orally and 2 dose vaginally by the doctor after the dose doctor said she will start to bleed within 1 hour but she bleeded little after 3hrs and after 4hrs she was having very bad cramps and she saw white tissue like structure after with brown discharge and later she didn't bleed till now its been almost 48hrs and there is no cramps or pain is this the sign of missed abortion? She is tensed please suggest what to do next

Did ultrasound after one week of misoprostol and found some content and doctor gave again dose of misoprostol.will it be effective now?

Respected Doctor's I had medication abortion following missed abortion at 8+2 weeks with crl 6+3 weeks. Had sublingual misoprostol 800 mcg as advised by my gynaecologist. Started bleeding with minimal cramps after 2 hrs. Changed 2 pads since then with clots. But the issue is that the tablet residue is still present under the tongue and i am not taking anything from mouth except sips of water,since 10 am. Should I need to drink the residue with water as it's already 6 hrs or still keep it beneath the tongue. And how much time will it take to completely dissolve. Thanku doctor's.

How many times and upto how many weeks we can consume misoprostol to remove retained poc ? And d&c can be done upto how many days after misoprostol ? I took it on 1st of march and on 18th I found rpoc in USG .

My friend took Mifepristone on Friday night and yesterday she took Misoprostol 2 doses together by keeping it under the tongue and 2 doses after 2 hrs yesterday she experienced heavy bleeding and pain both and today she told that she has less bleeding as compared to yesterday and very less pain. She is 5 weeks pregnant and has also completed the tests before taking the medicines the CBC and Ultrasound and everything was normal after that only she took the medicines but today the bleeding and pain are less as compared to yesterday.Is it a cause of concern for her?

I took 2  misoprostol tablets vaginally as I had retained products of conception and next day morning both the tablets came out,is this normal
