Recently Answered Questions on Misoprostol

Hello, I was 5 weeks pregnant and took the mtp for abortion. Upon ultrasound after the course, there were still some rpoc of about 7mm and I took a second dose of misoprostol (400ug). That was more than 24 hours back and I still haven't bled. How long should I wait before visiting the doctor again. Thanks !

I took 3 pregnancy test on 3 consecutive days after missing my period. One came negative and other two had a very faint line. I took another and that had a faint but visible line(darker than rest). I consulted a gynecologist and she told me I was pregnant. So she gave me MTP pills( mifepristone and misoprostol). But I was in a little confusion so I took a beta Hgc blood test before taking the first pill mifepristone. Now after I took the mifepristone pill, the results of beta hgc came back 0.15 which is negative. So I consulted her again and she told me as you haven't got your period and you have already taken the mifepristone, continue the regime but now instead of 4 tablets take 2 tablets of misoprostol only. (As I am not pregnant) So will just 2 be enough? Is there any chance of Rpoc or incomplete abortion?

I had a medical abortion few days back. I took the mifepristone and misoprostol as directed but I didn’t feel any stomach cramp and slight bleeding for 4-5 hours. I feel nauseas and vomited couple of times but not immediately after taking the tablet. It was after 3 hours. The kit contains 1 mifepristone which I took 2days before and 4 misoprostol tablets which I took two each with 7-8 Hours apart. Is the abortion successful? If not what should I do. Is it safe to repeat the process?

As suggested by Doctor in MTP process, My wife took misoprostol 4 pills at 7:30 pm and started bleeding by 8:15 pm. At 10:30 when she went to urine, 2 tablets got out from vagina. Should she need to re take the pills as she's still bleeding and suffering from cramps

I took medical pills for abortion when i was 5 week pregnant but my doctor gave me 1 tablet of mitoprostal and 2 misoprostol tablet but instead for putting it under my tongue i swallowed it with water .but yet i got my periods.can i be still pregnant ?

I had 5 pills of misoprostol but I just few cramps and slightly brownish bleeding inside vagina now if dnt continue procedurewhat are side effects on my baby box I read there will be malformation and in one site I read that not happened. What to do plz help

Had unprotected penetration 2 days before period date. No ejaculation in or near private part. Periods were 3 days late. UPT test came positive. Took misoprostol after 5 days of penetration. Bleeding started. How many doses of misoprostol do i have to take?vwhen and how will I know that pregnancy is over? Will periods be regular after it?  And plz suggest some measures to keep in mind. I have taken misoprostol tablet for my after 25 hours of taking mifepristone and it started bleeding. Moreover after 3 hours a table tennis size blood clot comes from my private part. Up to next Two days my bleeding was normal like as periods, but again it started heavily since the morning of third day (about 60 hrs of taking first dose of misoprostol) with blood clots. Please tell whether is it normal or I have any infection. Please reply fast...

My gf used misoprostol and the bleeding was heavy on the first 3days... then the bleeding was light later on the 4th-6th day and stopped.... on 7th day the bleeding stopped finally.... plz is that normal

I take 2 tabs of misoprostol & methergine at 12 at noon orally with water i started to bleed.... again i repeat the dose after 8 hours but vomit two hours later what should i do now ?
