Recently Answered Questions on Loperamide Hcl

My wife is now 29 weeks pregnant. Doctor had recommended usual medicines of Iron, Folic Acid, Calcium etc. But 20 days back doctor has prescribed Alamin M Forte, but since it was not available that time locally, I took astymin M forte, which she is taking still. This medicine is a multivitamin which has certain Amino Acids, Namely, L Arginine, L Lysine HCL, DL Methionine,L leucine, L Valine, L Isoleucine, L Phenylalanine,L Tryptophan, L Threonine, L Histidine HCL plus certain vitamins and minerals in it. This medicines is recommended 2 times a day so my wife is taking this 2 times since last twenty days. Also doctor advised another tablet of multivitamin which has 10 mg of lycopene in it. It was suggested to take once a day. My wife is taking it since last 15 days. So my question is : whether amino acids which are mentioned above and lycopene (10 mg) are safe to take in pregnancy?

On Oct 06 I got 101 fever with chill. then started loose motion for 10 days sometime 8-10 times a day. First Prescription - Ofloxacin then Loperamide. Hard Stool 1-2 times after Loperamide. Then Second Prescription after 5 days - Rafixmin, Doxynec, Lee Dott & Lee Biotic. Next two days of pure water in motion. Third prescription - Loperamide, Ofloxacin & Lee Biotic. Watery Loose motion for 2-3 days. On Oct 15 I stopped all medicines. A few tests done some highlights are: Hb1Ac: 6.6 EGA: 142.8 Stool Occult - Positive Stool R/M - Normal Stool Culture - Normal C-Reactive Protein - 48 ESR - 28 Blood In Urine RBC - 2.6 (Urine) Hb - 15.5 Urea - 6 BUN - 12 BUN/Creatine Ratio - 6.5 Current Symptoms: 2-4 Stools Mushy or Soft Blob, Back Pain sometime, Pin Point pain on left side below ribs. Little Bit Dry Mouth and Bloating. I also have Kidney Stone of 3.1 mm in Left Kidney and 2.4 mm in Right Kidney. I have increased Salad, Veggie and Dal Intake and reduced Roti and Rice. Please Suggest.

Yesterday, Due to cleaning of home toilets at my house i got exposed for like hardly one minute to the hcl acid and ran away for fresh air coughing up saliva . Now at night I had dry coughing bouts and throat irritation which subsided but early in the morning i was feeling ill with flu symptoms like headache , runny nose etc Is there any health risk from inhaling one time as i have no swallowing problems at all.

Hello sir Hello sir, Few days ago I was removing rust frim cooler using domestic use HCl But from that day nose irritation and running nose has started. My nose get blocked due to mucus at night I visited nearby B.A.M.S DOCTOR and taken medication. But after 3 days still the mucus come to nose sometimes and it get blocked. I visited the doctor again if there is any issue due to acid exposure But he said it's all fine. I still have doubt should I visit a specialist because I don't want things to get worse

I am in Bali from Sunday. Monday night I had continuous burping and was unable to sleep properly but was fine on Tuesday. But it started again on Wednesday night and is still on. While sleeping I am not able to burp and feeling suffocated. It's ok when I wake up and walk as I can burp easily. I don't have any Pain in Abdomen or any where. Local doctors says its gas and gave me RANITIDINE HCL and OMPERAZOLE.

My father underwent tracheostomy few days back. Right now he is discharged from hospital and at home. He is taking okacet 10 mg once daily Oritaxim-o 200 twice daily Paracetamol IP 500 mg twice daily Ambroxol HCl 30 mg thrice daily For last 3 days he is having these prescribed medicines, but he has complained that he did not have motion for last 3 days. Yesterday he felt dizzy and vomited also. Fearing it is gas or constipation. Need suggestion....

Committing suicide by swallowing 8 tabs of polytanol 10mg, 10 capsule of panadol tramadol hcl 50mg, 8 tabs of navamin dimenhydrinate 50mg, cough and cold meds, 10 tabs of curam 1g and alcohol. Will it be fatal for her? She have these medicines in her room and we cant take this from her. How muvh time it will kill her and hiw much time we need to save her just in case?

I had fungal infections from a month and so decided to visit a skin doctor. He prescribed Eberconazole tablets and cream, but also prescribed Cetrizine HCl tablets. Actually from 2-3 days, i had runny nose and sneezing problems also but i did not told doctor, but i was surprised to see doctor prescribed its solution. I want to know the relation between sneezing, runny nose and fungal infections. When i don't take Cetrizine tablets, i get the problem again. I haven't found any relation on net.

I was prescribed oral capsules of Zoflonid (ofloxacin 200mg + ornidazole 500mg) by a doctor while out of the country. (The first time I had BV, I was given Micronor.) We did not do a culture test because I will be in transit by the time the results are ready, so he gave me this broad spectrum antibiotic to take until I can see my primary doctor. I just want to know: one, if it's ok to take this drug; and two, if it will interact with my antidepressant (venlafaxine HCl ER, 75mg daily).

Hi.. I am suffering with chronic sinusitis and undergone dns surgery twice. But still I am facing heazy movement on for head and eyebrows. More in left side. Currently I am taking levocetrizine hydrochloride (5mg)and Ambroxol hcl (60mg)tablet. Found some changes in dullness. Can I improve this to two doses? Is there any side effects? Last time I used and found sinus congestion discharge. Please suggest.
