Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

Respected Doctors, Recently my father suffered a rib injury which left a small crack on the lower left rib. Now he is recovering. After 15 days of rest, an orthopedic doctor prescribed him Bone Back Tablets which has contents like Cissus Quadrangularis and Moringa Oleifera. I would like to know if it is recommended to have the prescribed medicine because my father takes blood thinning tablets like Acitrom. Somewhere I read that Moringa Oleifera may thicken the blood and it is not recommended. So can you please shed some light on this? Thanks. Vijith Nair

I was unable to find the exact area of pain until now. I have been suffering from pain (gentle) in the left upper ribcage and was uncertain what caused it as the pain as it was not in the same place (sometimes in the back both upper and below). So I started laying down Turing right side to avoid pain in the upper left while lying down I touched  below the left rib cage I felt pain and passed gas which relieved me and I felt the same way when I pressed at the upper back it too helped me release gas and felt better. But the pain below rib cage comes and goes. Not sure what is happening as I tend to panic for reason and this small pain does not go unnoticed.

I have entered 9th month pregnancy on 10th April, 2017. Since last 15 days I am in severe backache..In my ribs...Right rib specialy...Area below chest...Backache in upper back....Around spinal chord...Tried calpol 500, aciloc, ultracet...Move, volini, hot water bag...Nothing works much...Combiflam gives some relief....Today my gyno suggested rantac, combiflam, dygine and trinerve forte....So that already I am.able to sleep properly....To repeat combiflam after 8 hours. Please suggest. I have to wali till April end for delivery.

Been suffering from low back pain since few weeks. X-ray suggests mild spondylitis at cervical and lumbar region with subtle endplate osteophytes in both regions. Questions: 1. I am getting pains around ribs region on left side (front & back) recently and also suffering from pain around left collar bone for a few months. Could these pains related to cervical spondylitis? 2. How to diagnose the pains are related to this? 3. Any sort of treatment available for the pains reported above? 4. Any treatment available for osteophytes? 5. I have had gut infection 2 years back which was cured after taking anti-biotics, it was a detailed treatment plan by Gastroentrologist, i would like to believe that it was cured but not completely, after the treatment on and off i see issues like low appetite, low thirst, sometimes i observe a very dull intermittent pain under rib cage on right side of stomach, and i am pretty sure that this is all related, also i also notice smell coming from under rib cage which i guess no one else can feel(intermittent), i would also like to report that i have undergone colonoscopy a year ago and blood/stool test, all came clean, stools are sometimes well formed, sometimes they are not formed at all, laced with mucus and sometimes mucus and blood are mixed, what would the jury suggest i would do?

My father had suffered by Herpes around his belly 2 years back, which I believe brought his skin loosened, since then he has a lump of around 1 inch developed on left-hand side of his belly, just below rib-cage. We visited a General Physician for the same, we had sonography & MRI scan also done for it, where doctor said it is nothing, just the skin loosened due to herpes, and said nothing to worry, it will get cured in few months. Now after 15 months, since last 2 months he experiences pain while sitting and feels that the lump moves upward near rib-cage when he sits. We sought for a recommendation, which specialist should we visit to diagnose this? We are not getting clue what is it?

I have a burning sensation in my calfs along with knee and foot pain .walking discomfort. My NCS shows no abnormalities.Knee x ray is normal. My vitamin d is 25 and b12 is 850. Doctor suggested to have b12 injection on weekly basis What is the reason? What are other factors which cause leg discomfort? Do I need to consult with cardiology for any blood flow in the leg ? Out of rectum this balloon like skin is coming out and yesterday after passing the stool the blood flowed from the passage. Having no pain or discomfort. No constipation. Why is this happening? Does this need surgery or it will be cured itself? Is it too large that cannot be cured and need surgery? Having from 1.5 yrs. Blood came twice in ladt two years. Blood was not in the stool. I have been suffering from chronic Epididymitis and testicular discomfort and mild residual pain which comes and goes since 04 months. I have taken anti biotics and done ultrasound which comes okay with mild inflammation only no sign of bacteria and currently going with homeopathic and Ayurvedic treatment. Hi, my xyphoid process is visible when I completely took my stomach inside .. it is something I am observing from last 6 months .. it doesn't have any pain .. it will be visible only if I took entire stomach inside .. is it something it is like that earlier or not ?? I see discomfort if I sit in the ground level sometime .. there is no pain when I touch.. I am feeling this from 6 to 8 months now .. I feel discomfort sometime when I sit ground level..
