Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I was having a little breathing issue from 8th April, so I took Azithromycin 250mg dose 2 times a day for 5 days, my covid report came on 12, and according to my prescription my doc said if you have taken azithromycin don't continue now, the day before yesterday and yesterday I had a little discomfort (a little pain and congestion) on the left side chest and my left arm was in little pain too .. so as I read about Azithromycin .. I took 250mg tab yesterday in morning and evening .. I'm relaxed today .. my question is do I need to continue Azithromycin for some more days .. or is there anything else ... And yes steam inhalation helps a lot .. please suggest .. I have shared my prescription that I'm taking..

Hi i am having high heart rate since couple of years and doctor has prescribed propranolol tablet 10mg once which I am taking for last one year. In recent past sometimes I am having trouble while sleeping where I feel my whole body becoming numb and severe chest tightness and I wake up. It doesn't happen daily but often I feel this that too only while I go to sleep. The discomfort is so heavy that I could not sleep and as soon as l wake up my high rate become very high and sometimes I feel dizzy. Is it due to the medicine m taking as I take only tab ajaduo for diabetes which is under control. I do not have BP either. Though I tried reducing the dose of propranolol to half and one fourth to find the difference which seems effective.

Hello I am a married woman of 29 years ( no kids). 2 days back my periods started. This time I switched to menstrual cup. I ordered small size menstrual cup of Sirona yesterday, initially couldn't insert in few tries, however thereafter was able to but after few mins it leaked a bit, I was having bit discomfort too, but after around 4 hours , I couldn't find it all instead. I panicked but again after an hour more after much trying could find it. So I am bit speculative to use it again. So needed advise if I am using wrong size and need to change to some other size? I am not able to understand the high/ now cervix concept. Pls guide

I had undergone test of ECG and TMT for slight chest pain, but not squezing or throbing pain only light pain in left upper chest area near food pipe. ECH and TMT were normal doctor called it as acidity and no issue with the heart. But from yesterday i had gas and bloating issue and today i also feeling slight upper left chest near foodpipe area. When i burp i feel some realaxtion. Slight discomfortness and pain in left hand and shoulder. Please guide me doctors. TMT report attached herewith.

On 26/02/2020 i went for a ECG and TMT for some pain in left chest area, the result is all normal. Cardiologist suggested to meet a MD for further assement. Then the doctor checkuped and given me Esopen-DSR Capsule and Peploc-150 tablet. Esopen 1 capsule daily at morning before food. And peploc 150 one tablet at night after food. My question is whether the above medicine do have more serious side effects. Till now i have not taken any medicines. Should i go with the treatment. From last 3-4 years i am having stomach discomfortness and gas trouble. Please guide me. My bp was 130/90

Dear Doctor, I'm 33 years old man, I often get some discomfort in upper left chest. I went to a cardiologist and took all relevant tests. My ECHO, ECG and TMT were normal. And doctor concluded it should be a muscular pain. Also I have vitamin D3 deficiency and they prescribed me tablets for that. Also doctor suggested me to lose some weight since I fall under over weight category. My question is all though everything looks normal it was mentioned in my ECHO report like trivial tricuspid regurgitation and trivial mitral regurgitation. I asked doctor about this he said it is not cause of concern. But I'm little worried. What do they mean by trivial TR and MR??? kindly answer me. Will this condition progress and get severe in future?

I suffer from left-sided chest discomfort radiating to left arm and left upper back.. I also get Lower jaw and throat tightness.. the left one symptoms used to occur in December... responsded well to muscle relaxant n painkillers but the course affected my gastric system n I started getting throat suffocation.. ent said the area behind tongue shows typical LPR reflux signs... plz suggest me what to do? I first noticed it 11 years back and consulted a doctor who referred me to a neurologist. But without even conducting any checkups, it was concluded that it was due to stress. I started noticing the symptoms again 2 years back briefly. Now I experience the same quite often and feels like it exist almost everytime with the rate of disturbance mostly mild. I recently went to an eye hospital and did checkup. I have spectacles now but issue still persists. What can be the reason?

I am 41 and overweight. I also have GERD issues. Just a couple of days ago, I had a basic cardiac checkup done. The echocardiography and TMT results were normal. Today, I had a pain in the sternum region as I was climbing two flights of stairs. The pain went away almost immediately after I stopped climbing and rested for a few minutes. I did not get any pain when I again climbed two more flights of stairs. However, the pain returned about five minutes later as I was sitting, and has persisted for the last twenty minutes or so. The pain is sharp but not discomforting. This has also occurred in the past. The pain usually comes for some time and goes away. However, today was the first time I was concerned by how quickly it stopped on resting after climbing stairs. Should I consult the cardiologist again for more advanced cardiac tests?
