I feel my son is always hiding few facts about his activities, financial dealing & relationship. He gets irritated when confronted.He is not comfortable with quires on these front. In past he lied us when he was in College. We came to know that he is relationship with a girl elder to him & divorcee with a kid. After lots a persuasion he admitted. We did not agree & asked him to come out of it. He promised us that the relationship is over but we don't believe as we found that he is in touch with that lady. of late,he is also drinking. When asked,he denies. We need your advice how to deal with it. Does he requires any Psychiatric treatment?

I last had my periods on the 12th of April,16 which goes for 5days. Heavy the 1st day and gradually becomes light by the 5th day. I had unprotected sex on the 24th of April, 16 and me and my partner tried the pull out method. My partner being 100% confident that he has immense self control and assures of the fact that I won't get pregnant. He is against taking pills, so i have not taken any contraceptive pills but I am starting to worry. What are the chances that i could get pregnant ?

I am having an acute UTI with+1 blood, 65 pus cells, 3 to 4 RBC & some 86 rod bacteria. I went to my physician. He thoroughly studied my report. & Gave me an antibiotic costing 1300/- I even asked him,, shouldn't I go for urine culture before starting this expensive medicine. He then said that anything could happen to your body.. I was frightened & I had the complete 5 days course of that medicine. After finishing my medicine I retested my urine routine. This time my blood was+1, & pus cells were 26, & RBC was 3 to 4. & Rod bacteria was increased to 96. I was amazed by my physician's calculation. While diagnosing my problem & on the first day what should he be done. In fact when I consulted another physician he advised me immediately to go for urine culture. & After giving the samples you start taking Norflox 400. In fact my problem was therefore for the last six months. I consulted a dermatologist in this concern. He after checking my penis thoroughly.he said no problem is there.

Hello, Doctor. I'm 15 years old. Weight is 101 KG, height is 5.5/5.6 inch. For last 3-4 months, I have a lump on the right-sided inner cheek. It was appear suddenly, in fact, overnight. I have attached the picture of this affected area. It is the picture of present time, in fact, today and newly taken. The day before when I first feel it, I noticed nothing in this area. So, I think it had developed overnight. However, in the first few days, the lump was painful and more larger than the picture attached (it is the picture of present time). Then I start taking Flucloxacillin 500 MG (twice/third a day and continue it for 10-14 days almost). Then, the pain got away and the swelling also reduced a bit but the swelling wasn't fully gone. Since then, I think that the lump is decreasing in size quite slowly. I have no other problem (like trouble eating or drinking) till now. Is it something serious like cancer, doctor?

My mother has been suffering from tinnitus for quite some time now(almost 10 years) and it has started to severely impact her quality of life. The noise is persistent, especially at night, making it extremely difficult for her to fall asleep or get proper rest. Because of disturbed sleep, she often feels tired, anxious, and low during the day. Hi, My mother is 54 and has been a Multiple Sclerosis patient since 2002. She had a stroke on Sep 16 and she was not able to speak properly and speech became slurry. She was diagnosed with Acute Infarct - Stroke (cholesterole deposits went to her brain as per the doctor's). She also got diagnosed with Pre Diabetics, and High Blood pressure. She got discharged on Sep 26 and it looked like she was on her road to recovery however on Oct 25 again her speech got slurry despite the proper medication and home speech therapy. In fact, this time her BP and sugar levels are normal too and monitored rigorously. Now she is not able to respond and almost 90% of the day she is quiet and 10% she speaks. She also has hard time reading a few words which she could do easily. How can I get her back to normal speech?

M27 here who has been smoking cigarettes from 2020–2022 of about 3 a day and from 2024– till now about 7–8 a day. Has done pft twice now which were normal and done chest xray twice which were normal. Last test were on august 6, 2025. I ALSO DID FIXED LARYNGOSCOPY TEST IN BETWEEN MAY–JUNE 2025 WHICH WAS ALSO NORMAL TOO. So, whenever I clear my throat by inducing cough to check is there anything. After many many times of inducing cough and clearing my throat i get a minuscule amount of blood. So Do i have to get another larengoscopy? And was blood caused by forceful and repetitive coughing given the fact that i did larengoscopy just 3 months back?

My mother has been feeling unwell since this afternoon. She has fever, cold, vomits after consuming anything, including ORS, milk, idli, or buttermilk. Our family doctor has prescribed Dolo, Zerodol, Montair LC, and administered an Ondem injection. However, she continues to vomit after eating or drinking. She has a known history of acute gastritis and IBS. Currently, she is experiencing continuous burping after eating. The doctor mentioned starting IV fluids tomorrow. Given her symptoms and the fact that she’s unable to retain food or fluids, what else can be done at this point? What could be the underlying cause? Does she need immediate hospitalisation? she has been the sole caregiver for my 83-year-old grandfather over the past four days, who is currently suffering from pneumonia. This might have caused physical or emotional strain.
