Scalp itching and pain with hairloss
Sir, I am troubled by scalp pain and a strange tingling sensation, which is exactly in the middle of my scalp — on the crown and hairline. However, there is no visible issue on my skin in that area. In fact, just like three years ago, I still have baby hairs growing there. I consulted a doctor, and they prescribed me ketoconazole (shampoo + tablets), along with clobetasol propionate lotion and an HP (herbal/ayurvedic extract) base. These gave me only slight relief. My hair fall is not excessive — about half the amount compared to the length of my hair — but the pain and itching are especially noticeable in the same affected area.

Pain, itching, and tingling in the crown area suggest scalp inflammation that may not be fully responding to current products. This needs a detailed check to rule out causes like seborrheic dermatitis, folliculitis, or early scarring alopecia.
Next Steps
*Avoid frequent use of strong steroid creams without medical supervision *Continue gentle scalp care and avoid harsh scratching or hot oil massages Please consult me/your dermatologist for proper evaluation and a personalized treatment plan
Health Tips
Early diagnosis is important in scalp conditions to prevent hair thinning or scarring. Don’t delay professional evaluation.
