I am a recently diagnosed alcoholic person with depression and anxiety, I think I scored 21 on the quiz, I can't remember the name of it. When I went to see my GP about sertraline not working for me, he increased the dose to 100mg. I've found myself unable to stop drinking and in fact drinking more only to get rid of the anxiety and putting off the feeling that I want to kill myself and being an all round failure. I don't know what to do at this point because my doctor said the sertraline work.

I am 30 years old. From last 6 months I have a problem with my errection. Even though I am sexually aroused I cant get hard errection. Earlier I used to get hard errection. I smoke. I am not stressed out or have any psychological problem. In fact I had a good sex life with my girlfriend. I dont have sex regularly now as I habe been single for more then 2 years but I masturbate. During masturbation also I cant get hard errection. I dont have diabetes, high blood pressure or any illness.

I’ve been having chest pain for the last 2 days now. Last time I had this was in January. I had a lot of the same symptoms - a lot of fatigue followed by aching muscles and then a lot of chest pain. Last time, it lasted around 2 months. I didn’t go to the doctors because it passed but the fact it’s come back has made me worried. My family also has a history of heart disease and high blood pressure.

I am a jobless 27 year old female. My father died when I was 11. My mother has been taking care of me ever since. We are very close to my maternal aunt and her husband. Recently my uncle, ie, my maternal aunt's husband was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. I'm trying to cope with this fact but our neighbour makes my life difficult by hurling abuses at us because we don't have a male member in the family and also disturbing us in more ways than one. Hi, I am a 30 years old woman. i have been on dialysis for 4 years. The first year my weight was 55, the second year it was 45 and since the last two years my weight has been on the rise from 45 to now 61.5 kgs. Since the month of May this year I have gone from 58.5 to 61.5 kgs (this is 3 kgs gain in 7 months). My problem and question is that I eat very little and have bouts of anorexia. Then why am I gaining weight? I have not changed my eating habits, in fact I have completely quit added sugar

Hi My sister is diagnosed with schizophrenia/bipolar disorder and does not take medicines.We have tried to give her medicines by dissolving them in water, milk but she recognizes the taste and also the sleepiness & other effects that medicines have.We face difficulty in giving her medicines as many a times she just keeps throwing stuff doubting it to be having medicines-in fact she says that we give her drugs & is very angry about it.

Hi, On Sunday night, my big toe was sliced open. I went to ER, and they glued it closed and gave me a straight shoe and told me not to ben my big toe. Well everyday after school i've been checking the wound, and basially its not healing, and the glue is coming out and off due to the fact that my feet sweat excessively. it still hurts. I'm a fencer and I fence everyday. I have a tournament next week, and if I don't go Monday, with will be forced to forfeit. What can I do?

A radiologist did a trans pelvic and trans vaginal ultra sound an found 5 measurable fibroids and a cyst. The cyst is on my right ovary and is double the size of my right ovary and one of the fibroids is on my left ovary and is triple the size of my left ovary. My doctor doesn't want to act on the information found she wants to wait and watch due to my age (29yoa) and the fact that I have never had children. She wants to do a D&C and she prescribed birth control to regulate the bleeding.

My kid, age is 7 years, yesterday went to the market yesterday. She was roaming for 40 mins after that she said she is feeling thirsty and wants to drink water but i didnot have that so asked her to wait.. then she felt nauseatic and after that fell down in a frontward posture.. immediately i picked her up and then she came back to her senses. But she did not know the fact that she was falling down so i think she was unconscious for may be 10-15 secs. Need advise pls

Im a 35 year old woman and I'm experiencing severe hair loss for a few months now. A blood test report showed that I am Vitamin D deficient. The doctor has recommended hair fact for 3 months along with vitamin d supplements and tugain 2%. I would like to know if I can use tugain 2% for a period of 6 months and then discontinue or if once started will I have to continue using it lifelong?
