Are there any side effects of AKI? I had it last year as a result of some painkillers that dint suit me (ortho recommended) and since then have gained a lot of weight which im not able to reduce, lethargic most of the day, puffy face, im on Rx for Thyroid and AKI induced HTN, no amount of diet control and exercises are helping me, totally frustrated to the extent that i feel like whacking others when they comment on my weight. All my blood reports are normal still terrible symptoms i have, I do have PCOS also, so combination of all the worst, can someone please guide..!!

Hi Dr I've 3 mm kidney stone in right kidney mid pole which is detected in USG scan...No pain or symptoms...1 month back it was not there when I did USG scan...May I know how to get rid of it soon...

My father had type2 diabetes from 2008. Since last year due to high sugar level and consumption of painkiller given by dentist for 10 days my fathers creatinine level increased to 1.9. There is monthly increase in it since then..now it has reached 4.9 From 3.6 last month. It took two years to rise it from 2.4 to 4.9. Kindly help

Hello Doctors Please help..my 11 months old baby's eyes are swollen from last few days..doctor gave her urine culture test... Pls check .. Yesterday and today we do urine test from different lab..two reports are attached.. Yesterday pH level shows 7.5 Today pH level is 8.5 which is on higher side.. Is my baby has kidney problem?her lower part of eyes are swollen.. My baby takes isomil milk and water before sample gave..we collect her urine sample 2 hours after her milk intake..is it  create any problem with the report?pls give your valuable advice

I have a problem from last few months that whenever I'm walking or I'm running for two three kilometers or more or even I'm standing my legs are getting swelled even my body is getting swelled for some hours a day and also I'm going to be short of breath.
