Hi was having uti and was put on augmentin 3 times a day for 5 days My dose completed on Thursday morning can I repeat urine culture tomorrow morning? It will be 4th day after stopping antibiotics Will the antibiotics out of system to give for test

I have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and am concerned about managing my condition effectively. Recently, I've noticed increased fatigue, swelling in my ankles, and changes in my urine output. Could you please provide guidance on how to monitor my kidney health, suggest lifestyle changes or treatments to slow the progression of the disease, and explain what I should expect in terms of managing symptoms?

Today we did an ultrasound for my husband as it shows his kidney size right kidney (10 x4 cms) left kidney (9.8 x 4.4). But his previous ultrasound November 2023 it shows right kidney ( 9.5 x 3.7 cms) and left kidney ( 9.2 x 4.5). as this report his kidney size is increased. Is this normal?

My grandmother recently was diagnosed with grade 3 kidney disease and was hospitalized , she was given 5 sessions of dialysis due to which she was having problems like pain and reducing platlets and Wbc count after 5 dialysis we decided to stop the treatment and get her home she has stage 3 CKD with chronic BP and diabetes , I have attached the reports ,need help over what foods can be given to her and what drinks can be given , and how long can one survive without dialysis at this stage due to her age and overall condition family decided to take her care at home , need guidance on what to eat and drink and any other advice would be appreciated

My mother diagnosed with CKD 3 months back.then her labs were Creatinine serum -1.10 eGFR-55 Creatinine Urine -38 Albumin/ Creatinine Ratio -Urine - 2.58 Today we did another test.now her values are Creatinine Serum - 1 eGFR-61 Creatinine Urine- 56.4 Albumin/ Creatinine Ratio -Urine -1.77 She is getting better or not?please advise?
