I've been feeling severely sad and overwhelmed, easily irritable, have been feeling suicidal too, should I consult a psychiatrist or a psychologist? I've never done this before and have not been diagnosed with anything.

My brother wad diagnosed with symptoms of schizophrenia last month. Doctor prescribed him an anti psychotic drug to reduce his delusions but he is not consuming those medicines. Please note that the he still lives at home with my mother and the area we live in doesn't have any good psychiatric facilities. We found a doctor nearest to our home but if we want to take a second opinion there aren't any other options available. Doctor also suggested to admit him but he is completely uncooperative and would not agree to it. We are in a really helpless situation. Could someone please guide us on how to navigate this situation. What treatment should we get for him. What will be the best course of action. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello doctor,I lost my father last year and I am planning for baby from last 6 months.I tried to make my mind for planning.I am 34 years old and my husband is 39.When we started planning,we were fine but from last 2,3months we both fought over small small things,specially for family issues,(my mother inlaws's some bad words to me after my father lost,which c should not speak).Now I am also feeling so depressed and frustrated and missing my father also badly.Pls help me what is this going on.

Now a days I feel overstressed due to heavy work pressure in my professional life. I have a 1.5yrs old baby. I 'm lactating mother. After returning from office I become so tired and become so irritable and don't want to talk with anyone. I want to keep silent or spend some time with myself. Even I don't get any interest to do my household chores too.  O feel so depressed also. Everyday I have too much back pain. Please suggest me to live a better life.

Dear Sir, I am diagnosed with ocd anxiety and depression for that my doctor suggested me memantine as an add on medicine with current medicines, But i think memantine is increasing my anxiety. Is it possible that memantine may make anxiety worse.

I am taking bupron xl 150 for depression it's been 12 days that I have taking it and on my arms I have itching and it's looks like mosquito bites on 4-5 places. Is this due to the medicine or what?

Should I visit a psychiatrist for first time? Does it require physical exam also? Or any  health test ? I want to consult a doctor for PE and ED symptoms which I have been experiencing from long time now. Earlier I thought may be due to starting phase but again and again and again... 2-3 years happened to this thing.

From past 2-3 days, I'm feeling extremely sleepy and tired all the time, 24 hrs even though I always have proper 8 hrs of sleep. I'm unable to concentrate on anything, I'm trying hard to focus on my works but nothing works. I feel so lost and uninterested and losing appetite. I want to concentrate and focus on works but I m not able to do it no matter how much I try, I just end up dozing off. I need some insights what could be the possible reason for this.

I am suffering from IBD and taking steroids for the same and couldn't sleep at night ..recently doctor gave amitone 10 ..can I take it long term for Good sleep at night or can be taken only for short term for sleep disturbance in  active IBD

I have food addiction and obesity since 10 years. I daily eat outside since 3 months.Can you please provide me medicine or which medicines works for it? Currently 118kg
