Pcnl for Kidney stone of 1.4 cm
Sir,
I have a kidney stone of 1.4 cm at lower calyx of left kidney & my urologist has suggested pcnl. I have few queries regarding this procedure. will there be more blood lose or damage to the kidney?
In this procedure kidney is punctured so I am worried how safe is this procedure.
Shall I go for this procedure? Please help me to choose the safe and effective method.

Clarification needed
Urinary Bladder: Moderately filled and regular in outline.
Uterus: Normal in size, regular in shape, anteverted in position, cavity is empty, cervix is normal.
Ovaries: Both tuboovarian regions appears to be normal, posterior CUL-DE-SEC contains no free fluid.
Comments: Suggestive of hepatomegaly with mild hydronephrosis (Right Kidney).
