Hi sir, I am using finasteride 1 mg since 3yrs, but I have read few articles about it, if we take finasteride for long duration , it l cause cancer of prostate , is that true? Because I am planning to use it for another 3 yes , can I use ?

Need recommendations for doctors for kidney stone , have been detected with 6 mm stone in bladder

I experienced little burning sensation while urinating in the morning. Have experienced Sharp intermittent pain in the past.

Dear Doc, My father was initially diagnosed for low Hb. After treatment from local Drs didn't improve his condition, we consulted a Physician who advised further test where in his Creatine level was found to be 6.33. He immediately asked for meeting with a Nephrologist. The Nephrologist advised a USG where in it's revealed that there is Polycystic Kidney Disease, Hepatomegaly. My fathers BP is 130/80 and Sugar is below 110. There is no edema or any other symptom. Ethropoetin 10k and Hepatitis vaccine have been adminstered to my dad. The Nephrologist has advised 10 day Levoday course and advised to stop all other medication as he wants to see drop in Creatine level based on which he will suggest line of action. Is there a cure for Polycystic Kidney. Will my dad require Dialysis or Kidney transplant?

I have swelling in my left testical and I feel a round shaped substance in my right testical... sometimes a slow pain occurs

For some past weeks , I had burning sensation in Urine, but 3 days before suddenly I got 103 C fever, vomiting, shivering.So i got ultrasound done, Summary is as below. 1) Liver: Normal in shape & size , But a hyper echoic mass measuring 19*18 mm in the right lobe. 2) Kidney : Microlith seen on both kidney 3) Urinary bladder: Wall thickness increased to 1.5mm All other organ normal in report I am taking Nifty SR 100 mg twice & Pacimol 650 In addition to that would like to add, 5 month I also had ultrasound & all findings were normal at that time, Don't know how liver report, kidney & urinary bladder were affected now?

From a week I have slight pain below naval.what is the problem and what I should do.I do not have any other problem

I have been in a urinary problem.I have to leave urine two or three times at night and it has been running for many days.but I have no sugar deases

I have a 3 mm stone stuck in urethra. My doctor said there is swelling in one kidney because of this. He gave me medicine k cit and oxalo. He told me that if stone will not come out in 10 days I have to go for surgery. I am taking medicine since last 4 days. I don't  know if stone has came out or not but I am not feeling any pain.Should I go for surgery after 10 days or wait more? I don't want to go for surgery.
